My wife and I love to try these little off-the-beaten-path cafe style restaurants. So, we thought we would give LBOE a try. We picked a busy night. Yet, there was a just a little wait as most restaurants would. They did a good job waiting on us. The food was de-li-cious! We loved the mason jar drinking glasses. We chose the Friday special date night meal: appetizer, 2 entrees, and dessert. Everything turned out great. (Although we were overcharged by $5). They could use more help on a busy night like this.
Everything was good I loved it! Family service friendly staff. Quite variety of interesting choices.????????
The food is awesome but the server didn't have it. We were gonna very dessert but she never came back. I'd try it again just because the food was so good and in a historic area.
This place is a heart attack lovers dream! Great burgers, great fries. (Get the maple bacon french fries). Usually busy, so call ahead for a takeout order, or possibly expect to wait for a table if dining in. Well worth it IMO.
I recently got a to go order. I ordered a cheese burger, chicken salad sandwich. My side choices were coleslaw, fries and fresh fruit . The cheese burger was over cooked. It was obvious that it was cooked on a open flame grill. But that's all you could taste. The chicken salad sandwich was the worst I have ever had. The best thing about my order was the slaw and the fresh fruit. I can't believe that people actually rave about this place. They are also a bit pricey. I say save your money and go elsewhere.
