    Excellent. Best ribs I've ever had, and that's coming from a guy that's lived in the Kansas City area before.

    Good eats, large portions, friendly staff. If you get the rack of ribs, be ready to share, lol. It's huge!

    This place is great to eat at , nice staff and reasonable prices , my husband and I are not from here , we loved it the reason why I rate a 4 star is because the fail to tell you it's only cash or check only , so we ate before we knew that , but regardless drove to an ATM . They should put a sign on the door even though it's a local family owned diner to let others know who are not local to have cash or check . But overall satisfied and fully tummies.

    We have had Carl's on our "to-do list" for a long time - too long. We made the drive from Bellevue to White Bluff yesterday - less than 30 minutes on Hwy 70. The service and food were excellent! We had the 3 & meat (pulled pork, if you're going to a BBQ for the first time, what else are you going to have???). I am from TN and the wife is from AL. There is also an argument over whether the BBQ was good enough. No argument yesterday!!!
    We will be back!
