Great supper with Willie's siblings tonight at Sweet Peas! Love their sweet potato fries and hush puppies!

I ordered a plate ; I had a choice of 1 meat and 2 vegetables, bread & a drink. I ordered country fried steak with white gravy. I chose fried okra and sweet potato fries. I had a roll and unsweetened tea. Everything was great. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. My final bill with tax was just a little over $10.00. I would definitely recommend this place. I look forward to visiting again soon.

It's a great place if you want good food, and wonderful atmosphere then this is the best place for you to eat. My hubby and I love this restaurant, we travel from Memphis whenever we can to eat.

We have enjoyed all of our meals at Sweat Peas in Oakland. My family really appreciates having this additional option for dining in Oakland, and we hope they stay around for a long time. Be sure to try the onion rings if that's your thing. They are literally the best I have ever eaten!

Simple southern cooking, done right. Parking is plentiful and service tends to be pretty good. Menu is a little limited, but food is great prepped and treated great. Hours can be confusing, they are only open for lunch some days. A nice clean restaurant with charm. Locally owned, though they have a second location in collierville.
