John T's BBQ

Like most BBQ restaurants this place was just OK. Maybe it's because I love good BBQ and have high expectations. It's rare that I find a BBQ restaurant that rates a 4 or 5 review. My brisket tasted days old, and my sides the same. I'll go again and hope for better.

My husband and I loved the food and service here! I can’t have dairy, and called ahead to check what my options were. The lady who answered the phone, the owner i’m assuming, was so helpful. She answered my questions and gave me some good ideas of what I could eat. We’ll be stopping by next tome we drive through Winchester.

The food is so perfect and I love the atmosphere. The owner loves to decorate for the holidays and it’s so fun to celebrate with them. I visit often and love the service, food, and decor!

I was in the area visiting friends. They know my love for good BBQ. I was not disappointed. I had the beef brisket sandwich. The flavor was so good I didn't use any BBQ sauce on the sandwich. Great place to eat!!!

Liked the food and it's a old building full of antiques. Try the fried green tomatoes and coleslaw friendly people enjoyed the brisket and John t"s bbq sauce. It's the best restaurant in town in the court square by the movie theater. If get the chance to just eat there and look around.
