We were in the area looking around for property and chose this for a late lunch, as we drove past. The BLT is a huge sandwich with an abundance of bacon and very delicious. Comes with fries or onion rings, both were great. Sweet tea is better than the norm. Service was very courteous and expedient. Highly recommend.
So me and my folks went here for Mother’s Day dinner tonight.
The good first. The waitress was lovely. Very friendly and sweet. She seemed a bit overwhelmed but she did say she was new. She did a wonderful job and we could haven’t have asked for better. The cake was moist and tasted amazing. Restaurant is clean and the staff are all friendly and doing amazing for being at such a new establishment.
The bad. The ribeye was very flavorless and thin, and very fatty. A good 40% if the meat was just fat. The ribs where very dry. And it felt like the food was rushed out.
Overall a good experience though. Will come back. It’s still early and every restaurant has to find its footing.
This was my first visit to Merle's. I had the cheeseburger, with fries. The burger was very good, fresh, and hot. The French fries were good also. Another person in our group had the ribeye steak dinner. He commented that it is was juicy, delicious and prepared well. We went on trivia night which was Thursday night. The parking lot was full, so some of our group had to park across the street. Trivia was a good time, the noise level in there was really loud. It was hard to hear each other speak. I have seen several negative reviews, but everyone in our group thought it was good, and the service was excellent even though they were extremely busy.
My third time eating at merle's this time with a larger group of ladies for lunch. Nicole was our server and she was wonderful. She was prompt, dealt with separate checks was very nice. We had pork sandwiches that were delicious, cheese burgers always the BEST and the park chop. We really enjoyed our luncheon and the excellent atmosphere! Thank you Terry Merle's is my favorite spot in town.
