The owner is sweet . Food is good .close to home which is nice. The prices are good.

The best meal in Grainger County! We came for the special one Friday evening and left stuffed, happy, and looking forward to coming back. The food was excellent. I have to mention the fried feta cheese appetizer, as I’m pretty sure it’s one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. I had their daily special, which really was SPECIAL! Half a pineapple filled with lime rice, hand battered butterfly coconut shrimp, Hawaiian sirloin kebab with steak, onion, and pineapples, a grilled and butter Hawaiian roll, crab salad, and some Pina Colada sauce for dipping. It was fantastic! Our waitress was very attentive and took wonderful care of us. We will be back!

We so enjoyed our 1st Supper at the HomePlace Restaurant. There were so many antiques & memorabilia all over. My meal was amazing! It was the "Special " tonight: steak , pineapple & onion skewers, hand breaded coconut shrimp, over lime & cilantri rice ion top of a hige pineapple boat, with crabb salad on the side & a roll. We highly recommend this family run restaurant! ❤️ 😋 😋

I got the steak sandwich with onion rings and unsweetened tea. It was delicious! Service was friendly and fast. It's a small place only 6 tables that seat 4-8 each. Perfect for the area.
