The onion rings appetizer was an awesome way to start our meal. We both order the white fish it was hot but breaded in cornmeal instead of flower and for our preference not our favorite. The side veggies were good. The start of the meal was definitely the strawberry cobbler with ice cream.

I suppose I am a bit biased because I know how hard the owner works to ensure her patrons have an awesome dining experience. Her delicious meals are served in a timely manner with generous portions and the desserts are to die for! Did I mention reasonable pricing? You owe it to yourselves to drive to the crossroads and try the samplings at the Gathering Place!

If you would blink you'd drive right by this eatery except that its attached to the hardware store next door.
This is a cash only store but the food is the yummiest and their staff are pleasant and helpful.
I changed one of my sides I ordered and the waitress was very helpful and changed it without incident ( because I'm known for giving waitresses a hard time); she was very understanding. Thank you!
At first glance it looks like a cinder block store front kinda plain, but inside its a nicely decorated restaurant pleasing to the eye.
We didn't find a diamond in the ruff, but we did find comfortable place with great food & service; we'll be back!
