We were on a long cross country road trip craving some home cooked food and we struck gold with Shari’s!! Got the tenders and the shrimp platter.. the homemade tartar sauce was delish with the shrimp and the fries were awesome. We ended up taking some extra hush puppies for the road they were that good!!!

Had a delicious fresh breakfast, just off the highway. Open early. Comfortable and great service. Highly recommend making a pit stop here to support this small business. And high chairs for the littles! See photo for business hours.

I stopped to get the catfish platter while on my way to the airport to go back home. I wish I could've taken the restaurant back with me! Shari told me it was going to be the best catfish I've ever had, and baby she wasn't lying!! It was perfectly seasoned and fried. Don't get me started on that okra!!! Soooo good. The sweet tea was delicious too. Shari herself was very nice and you can tell she takes pride in her work, it really shows! I can't wait to stop back in when I come back home to visit.

Stopped by this place for a late lunch a couple of Saturdays ago. Nothing fancy in terms of decor. It's a simple roadside kind of place that some would most likely drive right by. Just a few tables and a booth and a short menu on the wall. Had blackened shrimp, slaw, fried green tomatoes, and hush puppies. Everything was homemade and everything was delicious. Hush puppies were some of the best I have ever eaten. Slaw was just made and perfect. Friendly staff and the owner/chef came out and chatted for a while. So few of these one of kind places left. If you're headed down 81 in east Tennssee stop in a try it.
