Wonderful food. Steak in a Sack is well seasonedwith plenty of meat in a soft pita sack. Their onion rings are crunchy on the outside and softly cooked inside. Their food is wonderful. Highly recommend.

I am biased about this place. I have memories of family dinners and dates during school. If you enjoy quality sandwiches and oily/fried Americana, with a middle eastern flair you will enjoy Ankar's. The vibe of the place is like a Scorsese gangster set without the smoke or violence. I hope you try it out and enjoy. They're very busy around lunch and parking can be difficult.

Chattanooga staple with delicious sandwiches, gyros, burgers & other specials. Best onion rings in town! My favorite is the gyro platter. Its always more than I can eat but every bite is fantastic. Finish off with some homemade baklava. Make sure and check the daily specials board, front and back.

One of my favorites! Steak in a sack is where it's at, but all of their food is great! Wonderful service and the best sweet tea in town tops off their rating. Definitely recommend, whether you want a real Greek experience or just a salad, everything in between too!

I really love this place. Best sandwich shop in the world, in my opinion. Every time I go I get the chicken rider sub but, when I went this last, most recent time, I got the steak in a sac in a sub. It was absolutely delicious. Every time I eat there my food is delicious. It's like something magic.
