City Cafe Diner

What a great find! Couldn't be more happy with the meal we just had. For a 24-hour diner, I didn't expect much. BUT. The menu had many options, portions were generous, staff was courteous and friendly, and everything treated good and fresh. I will absolutely be back next time I'm in Chattanooga. ????????

The City Cafe diner was a diner in the truest sense of the word. The menu was extensive and the portions were generous. The food came out piping hot and was quite good. The entire staff hustled and did a very fast job of busing the tables and serving the food.

The pies and cakes and goodies, OH MY! The food was alright. Wonderful portion sizes. Great service. I liked that the servers and attendants had their own personalities, and seemed to enjoy working there. Bathrooms in adjoining hotel were okay.

I love this place. The management treats patrons like family. The food is DELICIOUS!!! All of it.
The menu is several pages filled with every kind of food you could want. Even kids plates are large portions.
The kitchen is always up for change requests. The wait staff doesn't get upset with large groups.
Then there are the cakes... they're huge! And awesome. I actually ordered my husband's grooms cakes from then. Our wedding guests still talk about them 10 years later.

The food is pretty good. Their cakes are phenomenal and are a must try. If you are full get it to go, you won't be disappointed when you get to it later. We often stop by just to get cake to go only. Parking can be a little tricky at times but easy access off the highway
