First Watch - Hixson

It doesn't matter if this place is on a 30 minute wait or just a few people there. The service and food is always consistently great. I suggest you get a table where you can watch the chefs in the open kitchen. The pace that they move at on a busy day is mind blowing. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!

First Watch was very nice. We used Yelp to put us on the wait list and we were seated right away. They have a patio if you like Al fresco dining. The place was very busy - we got there just before the after church rush. The service was excellent. They bring a water container and coffee pot and leave them on the table. I had the BLT eggs Benedict and they were very good. My husband had the Floridian french toast and enjoyed them. The restaurant was super clean - they had their last health department report posted at the register. It was 100%. The only knock was it was a bit loud. We'll be going back.

Always great food here. We usually go to the once on the northshore. It was very busy, but our food was good and it came to the table in a reasonable time. We got there around lunch time so they were jamming. The shopping center it's in is cute, but there isn't a lot of parking. The decor is modern and clean, and the restaurant is cafe sized. The food is tasty and healthy, like gluten free, cage free, etc. Its breakfast and lunch, leaning more toward breakfast.

I have dined at many First Watch restaurants and never had a bad experience. However, this one blows me away at the exceptional service they provide. The food is always amazing at every location. Sometimes though the service is not up to par with the food. This location has a little something extra. Every employee looks genuinely happy and proud to work there. You are always greeted with a smile when you walk through the door and a thank you from the manager as you leave. In a nutshell they make my day better. Happiness is contagious!

Very good food and people who are gluten intolerant can at least enjoy breakfast meat options. Its pricey for breakfast but the atmosphere is nice and the people who served us were good, just learning their jobs. I imagine this place will become a smash hit in Hixson!!! Its nice to have unique food in the area. I'm glad to find a place which isn't afraid to mix things up, be creative, and offer something new for the taste buds!!!
