This place is fantastic! Unannounced, 15 hungry women softball players filled the dining area and were served immediately (with a dose of humor) plates of the most amazing food. We all ordered different sides to share and none disappointed. We left with full stomachs and containers to take home.

My family and I were traveling to Chicago and stopped here for dinner before getting to our hotel. Everything was excellent! You don't want to pass up this place on your drive. We all ordered something different - I had the chicken plate with beans and curly fries; Mom had the half-chicken with green beans; Dad had a plate of pork ribs; and my grandma had shredded pork. It's safe to say we all just about ate our plates along with our meal.

Great BBQ! The family stopped in for lunch while traveling. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys flavorful BBQ. Fresh and made in house. For example, the fried okra didn’t come from a bag; it was the real thing, and tasty too. Impressive service with a small town hospitality.

Tiny little restaurant with a homey feel. It took awhile for the food to come out, but it was well worth the wait. Ribs were good as well as the Brunswick stew. The fried okra was excellent. Prices were very reasonable. The small staff was working very hard to serve everyone as quickly as possible. We all left full and happy.
