When I first saw the menu I was not impressed. It looked like any other overpriced American cuisine. But when the food came out we were pleasantly surprised. I had the Alex's salad which is pretty basic green salad for $9 but it was wonderful and the white wine vinaigrette was delicious. Husband had a steak burger which was fabulous and the loaded potato as a side was very good too. Even the sweet tea was perfect. Marie was a great server and all the others were attentive, drinks were never empty. Would definitely recommend!

The food was excellent. The service was refreshing compared to other restaurants I have been to. All ladies had their hair pulled back tightly or in braids. Everybody was very well-groomed. it's worth paying the extra to have a nice dinner where you don't have to worry about the restaurant and the help being dirty. That's not to say even crystals should be just as clean as any other restaurant.

Great service from entering to leaving. The ambience here is always nice. We were promptly seated. Our waitress was great with following up and ensuring food was great. The food was great and the Mac and cheese was steaming hot.Carrot cake is a must! Overall great atmosphere and fantastic service.
