Hands down the best Cajun I have had in town. I normally don't enjoy Cajun food, but the lovely couple who run this establishment have really hit the nail on the head for comfort food with a kick.

I love visiting there and seeing the familiar faces of the owner and his lovely wife, and there has never been a time I have entered and left dissatisfied. They offer samples of just about everything on the menu so you have a chance to try before you decide what you'd like for your meal.

All of the selections are expertly stewed and the seafood selections taste fresh and well-seasoned. It IS a bit more expensive than most other establishments in that area, but for the quality and portion size I would say the price is just right!

10/10 would recommend this establishment to anyone who enjoys Cajun food!!

I love this place. I try to go here every other Sunday afternoon. It's great food and the owners are wonderful. Very sweet kind people and they remember who you are. Love it all.

My hubs & I saw this little place while driving. We aren't from the area so we weren't familiar with it. We decided to come check it out & are glad we did. We ordered the Jean LaFitte & it was spectacular! Very friendly people here, as well!

J.Gumbo has AMAZING food that's spot on. The Chef his wife created complex flavors that transitioned all the ingredients into amazing dishes! Service was AMAZING
I would recommend it to all that are looking for a unique and tasty experience!!!! Thank you Chef and his family for a once in a life time experience!

The owners were very friendly and served us quickly. The menu is simple and tasty. The beer selection is good and served in bottles only. We enjoyed our food and service and will be back :)
