MAMA YO'S SOUL FOOD

I had lunch at Mama Yo’s and it was the best barbecue I’ve ever tasted. Do yourself a favor and get the beans. Yolanda was so nice and is a talented chef. If you want real tennessee soul food from the gods come here.

Visiting Chattanooga on vacation and found this GEM on Google. The plates are huge, enough for me to have two meals. The food is beyond amazing! We were looking for some good home cooked bbq food and was blown away by how good this food was! We met both Mama Yo and her husband and they are so friendly and great to talk to while we were waiting on our food. If we come back to Chattanooga, that will always be a good to location for dinner!

The food was delicious, and the service was great! My man had a little food-gasm from eating the pork.

The smell draws you to it. Open charcoal 55 gallon drum grills. Ribs to die for. The best I've had since my dad passed way in 2014. Ultimate craving of perfection!!! don't miss out. It's similar to a food truck type but it's a surprise of amazing good ribs. Me an my grandson couldn't stop eating. French fries steaming hot made to order. Mac& chz he loved. DONT HESITATE. TRUE SOUTHERN GRILLING!!! They come to your car you don't even have to get out. Gentleman is truely a nice easy to ask friendly person. They serve collard greens I know we will get next time. Affordable considering food at other restaurants an what you get.

I met Mama Yo this morning, and heard such good things from her friend that I stopped by for lunch. Best pulled pork sandwich I’ve had in Chattanooga, perfectly sauced with a little slaw. I will be back soon, next time for the ribs!
