Odd hours but a great place for great, simple food...waffles are outstanding (too good actually) and portions are generous. Coffee is top notch and fresh. Staff is uniformly friendly and helpful. The 28 locations are being acquired by Cracker Barrel so we'll need to see what happens...bet CB keeps up products and image. Give it a try!
Always love the experience and the food. This one particular experience was top of the line. While getting our food, my young daughter wanted to help and the plates are pretty heavy. The lady at the counter looked over at me and said "If anything happens let me know and we will get you a new plate a good". Luckily nothing did happen, but I appreciated the comment.
Overall this place is AWESOME... the biscuit was so flaky and everything was seasoned prefect. The guy who brings our drink and kept checking up on us was AWESOME.. (didnt get a name just knows that hes bald and around 30 or 40 years old)
O.M.G.!!! Watch out, because the portions are huge, and the food is amazing! This was our first visit, and we made the mistake of ordering food plus iced cinnamon biscuits. That was way too much food! We didn't want to waste it and ended up getting too full. However, we loved every bite of it! We look forward to going back and being more conservative with our ordering.
There biscuit with gravy with an over easy was an excellent choice. The farmer biscuit tasted amazing but was a little difficult to eat, because the piece of chicken was quite large/thick. The apple butter on it was sublime and paired so well with the chicken! The coffee is delicious as well, and my husband, who is usually quite picky about coffee, loved it, too.
I like to try unique or "unknown to me" places when out of town. This is definitely a great breakfast joint. I will visit again when in the area. Jr. Loved the waffles and cheese eggs. I had the biscuits and sausage gravy with 2 eggs on top, great choice! The coffee "Dark Bark" was clutch this morning as well. 5 stars!
