Great chicken and fish plates! The owner has a great attitude and is really nice and accommodating whenever we've patronized.

The decor is a little old, but the food is phenomenal. Fried okra wasn't slimey, onion rings were crisp and delicious. Ran out of a few things, but the taste of what they did have more than made up for it

We were at Parkridge and needed a quick bite. Google suggested Mr. Happy and the reviews were really good, so we went. We almost missed it, because it's a small hole-in-the-wall kinda place. A bit run down, but the owner and his wife make up for that with their awesome personality and food! He told is that he grew up eating there, and loved it so much that when he was offered the chance to buy it, he couldn't pass it up. I'm glad he did, because the food was great,and I will definitely stop in again when given the chance!
