Best burger in Chattanooga hands down. Great atmosphere and fantastic service. Highly recommended

Cheap food and beer. The restaurant allows smoking, so stay away if you are sensitive to that. They generally keep the air clear with special fans though. The bathrooms are small and...interestingly built, but it is an old building, which is part of the appeal for the restaurant. The food and beer were excellent and if you are feeling adventurous try adding some pickle juice to your whiskey shot ;P.

Atmosphere is fun, and lively on the weekend, with really good food and music playing in the background. There is a Rooftop patio, with a view of the soundings and Chattanooga’s main strip Market Street!
So I know what some are asking, do they have fried Pickles?!
Yes! They do! And they are perfectly cooked and seasoned.

Oh, Pickle Barrel. What a great, gritty, smokey heaven. Where the drinks are cheap and good times are to be found. Where the food is better than most other bars by leaps and bounds. Sandwiches, Appetizers, and man oh man the Chicken Tenders. Oh and a dope patio but that little bit is just a footnote.

Check this place out. Do it. Or don't. But do.

I read many of the reviews before going, starting with the negative, but decided it was still worth checking out and I’m so glad I did! They do allow smoking, so if your offended by that, this is not the place for you. To get upstairs to the rooftop deck, you need to go up a very narrow spiral staircase, so if you struggle with stairs, you will probably need to enjoy your food and drinks downstairs. We went on a Thursday, so it wasn’t super busy, but I had a great experience! They definitely do not take the rules lightly. If they feel you have been over served or are too intoxicated they will serve at their discretion, but as long as you drink responsibly you have nothing to worry about. I had several drinks and had a great time! The food is great, service was solid, and the pickle juice chaser is kind of amazing! If I lived in Chattanooga, I would definitely be a regular! I will be back to visit again!
