1st order at New Popeyes on Gunbarrel was great. Service took less than 5 minutes at noonish with 1 car in front of me and everything correct. For $38 we had a 12 piece family meal half spicy and half classic, both were fine, and the cashier told us which pieces were which. Now this seems expensive compared to chick FIL a next door, but there is also more food. At that price point I doubt we'd go every week -- besides grilled or air fryer home cooked chicken is much cheaper and healthier. Plenty of well cooked fries. Red Beans n rice and biscuits as we remembered.... The popeyes biscuits have always had a kind of smell and taste that are not my favorite. All in all a good, if pricey, reboot of Popeyes in Chattanooga.
