Sofa King Juicy Burger

I usually come in for lunch right before an afternoon flight but came in for takeout this time.

The food has always been good and made to order but seems to take a bit longer then most places to get to your table so don't expect a quick lunch; you're most likely going to be waiting a bit for your meal. It's not really a problem for me but it's just something to note if you're looking for somewhere to grab a quick bite.

I usually get the Classic burger with onions or make my own depending on how I'm feeling but I've had their Awesome burger and Nutty burger as well and I've never been disappointed.

Their fries have been hit and miss for me, sometimes being somewhat crispy and others just being limp and greasy. Because of that, I tend to go for the onion rings which are battered in Aretha Frankensteins pancake mix, which is always a win. Don't forget to ask for some classic sauce on the side, which is delicious on both the burgers and as a dipping sauce.

Best seasoned fries I've ever had. They're sweet. The falafel burger was good as well. The shakes were the only down side. Maybe I'm just not familiar with that style of shake.

We used to love this place. But the past few times we have gone, it's been a sad experience. We know it's a small place and the food can sometimes take a little longer. Typically we don't mind because the service is great and we love burgers from them and every thing comes out perfect. BUT the past few times we've waited longer than normally and orders have been wrong. The service has sucked, and nothing has been good. Went today... Ordered the awesome burger with grilled mushrooms and onions on it. Got a burger with nothing on it but grilled onions and mushrooms. My husband's burger had all of the toppings that came with his burger... And my toppings. Also ordered fried mushrooms. Got a mushroom cap. Just a mushroom cap. Which didn't make a bad side actually, but not quite what I ordered. But we waited forty five minutes for a burger and then had to wait another fifteen for them for them to put the toppings on. Got a cold burger...

This is one of those charming dives that is full of nice surprises. Swung by on a whim when driving by it around dinner time. Eclectic decor. Seating area which allows for big groups to sit together easily; and even a leather sofa in the corner. The service was fast, friendly, and pleasantly quirky. Decent selection of beers. The chili burger was excellent. The fries were old school floppy in texture which goes fine with burger. The seasonings on the fries is exceptional. With all the liquid nitrogen pouring around the corner when a shake was made, I had to try their cashew, olive oil and pink salt offering. It was delicious and unique just the rest of this place.
It was fun and delicious. I will he back for a laid back burger with friends.
