The Cheesecake Factory

Just had a great experience here. I’ve never had a bad experience at any cheesecake factory across the nation, but today our appetizer arrived after we were done eating. We weren’t that concerned, but the manager apologized to us at our table and took it off our bill anyway. Great service from everyone involved.

Of course I have heard so much about a Cheesecake Factory in my short life but I could never convince my anti-chain family to try it out. Finally the day arrived and I got to have the dining experience of my dreams. ✨

In all seriousness it is a chain and you get chain quality food which is meh. My nachos were okay but the chicken was tough and pretty flavorless. The apps were decent and of course the cheese cake was divine!!! I probably won’t be itching to go back anytime soon but I do see myself getting cheesecake to go. ????

First, the one complaint about Cheesecake Factory: we feel they are somewhat overpriced for what you get. This visit I ordered the Mushroom Burger and fries and a glass of iced tea. The check was $20 and change. I can get a very similar meal at other nearby restaurants for about $5 less.

With that said, the burger was delicious and actually cooked to the medium rare I requested, as well as being huge with plenty of cheese and mushrooms. The service was prompt and courteous and I was never left with a less than half full glass.

This was a Wednesday night about 6 PM and I only had to wait a couple of minutes for a table, as was the case with every party before me. Obviously this likely isn't the case Friday or Saturday night.

Then of course there is the cheesecake. I didn't order any this visit, but I can promise it is some of the best cheesecake you can buy. It has always been moist and not overwhelmingly sweet. There are always about 15 styles available, from plain New York style cheesecake to Very Cherry Ghiardelli cheesecake to Pineapple Upside Down cheesecake. There is the separate cheesecake counter so that you can come in and just have a slice for there or to go or pick up a whole cheesecake to go.

It isn't somewhere we will visit often, but I'm sure once in a while we will drop in, and I definitely plan to get the Hazelnut Chocolate cheesecake for my wife's birthday.

It's hit or miss on Sunday. This time we got a seat after 20 minutes and the food was good. My chicken soup was right out of a high quality can. We had to wait on bread. Service has always been good. Drinks are not worth the price even though the bar area is beautiful.

It took us a year to finally get there. We attempted to go when it first opened but the crowd was just took much. But it was everything we had hoped it would be. Absolutely fabulous food and service. And the desserts were phenomenal. Our server Jacqueline was the best.
