Cafe On the Corner

We came to visit Chattanooga and found this neat little restaurant. We have a child with a severe peanut allergy and we thought we would go in and see if they were safe, by any chance, for her to eat there. They were VERY informed about allergies, and the owner? who was also the chef came out and really reassured us of her ability to accommodate us. She spoke to us as parents, and also our daughter, to make sure we all (especially her) felt safe. What a treat! Kids ordered burgers and Mac N Cheese, mom and dad ordered the Chopped Chef Salad and the Blackened Chicken Burrito Bowl. Also, the kids had ice cream and mom and dad shared a cookie in a skillet. All was SO delicious! What a great ending to our trip to get to eat at this pleasant, delicious restaurant, a rare treat for allergy families. Thank you for the personal touch and warm environment!

We were there Sunday about noon, so very crowded. Lovely menu, good selection. However due to a large party, we waited(2 of us) 35 minutes on our meal. Got to be a bit much, but our waitress Chastity did a lovely job . Biggest issue was the bathroom which just amazed me!!! Water, or some liquid, splattered between toilet and sink. A broken TP holder half hanging off the wall as tho had been that way some time as they had a tower TP holder on the floor. Seemed a bit shabby and unkempt for the prices of an upscale, but casual , place. Especially since in business for years...... We also had a TV over our head with a football game on , so 8 or 9 teenager boys stood at our table to watch it....Nice kids but they were within 3 feet of us blocking view of anything else as we were in a corner. A little rude, someone should have asked them to break up, and we did not want to have to do it....

Had dinner here with a friend after seeing Rock City. Nice atmosphere. We felt under dressed, but we're welcomed in and treated right. Will go back again! Also the corn bread is amazing.

The burger was delicious. Friendly upbeat service. The chef was super nice. What a great experience.

Great Homemade Potato Chip Nachos! More than enough for two. But everything I saw looked wonderful. Several fish selections. I had the fried fish tacos, but you can get the fish blackened if you prefer. Nice lunch salad selection, but also burgers, pasta and steak options. My husband and I split the Chocolate Chip Skillet Cookie with ice cream for dessert. I was amazing. Warm with melted, gooey chocolate. Perfect to share.
