Absolutely fantastic. We had dinner and breakfast here. The biscuits can’t be beat. Great real southern cooking.
I've ate at the Country Cafe quite a few times through the years while traveling through.
Always good food.
This go around I called in for a to go order, being exhausted from the day on the road.
While I was paying, I asked the young lady(while I was looking into the bag)if the salad dressing and plastic fork and knife were in the bag for my hamburger steak and salad. She said yes they are, I continued looking and asked again. She said they were in the container with the food. So I took her word being other customers were waiting to pay.
I arrive where I was staying to find no salad dressing or fork and knife. Luckily I had a long plastic ice cream spoon in my glove box.
Food was very good. Priced nicely. Service was excellent. Speed was excellent. Nice and cold inside the restaurant. I have nothing bad to say.
Wow, what a breakfast! Everything was freshly made from scratch. I had the chicken strips and they came piping hot with toast and eggs that looked and tasted like real eggs. Highly recommended!
My wife and I had the joy of discovering Country Cafe on our way to the east coast. This treasure was a major event in our travels. We were served by Miranda, a sensational waitress who later told us she's the owner. She's the beautiful woman in the photo. The customers were a mix of cultures, ages, and professions. It appeared the majority were neighbors, family or acquaintances who greeted each other warmly and talked about their livestock, local news, and what's happening in their lives. The food was excellent and the portions generous just as Miranda and her staff were generous in their care and service to all who walked through their doors. Thank you, Miranda, for the joy of having met you and experiencing the greatness of your cafe.
