Hagy's Catfish Hotel Restaurant

Seems like all my friends and family just love it but for me it was just okay. We had a wait which I already knew to expect. The wait staff was working it. To me the strawberry salad and Caramel pie were the best parts of the meal. I ordered the All you can eat whole catfish. The meal/ batter needed more seasoning (salt especially). Our hustpuppies were albino looking but were ok. Location was the coolest thing about it. Wish bathrooms were a bit larger.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel staff in Savannah TN. It was fabulous! My bride had fried shrimp and I had a steak. Both were perfectly prepared!. Service was excellent and be sure to check out the story regarding the old cabin in the parking lot. This is a very unique experience which will leave you glad you made the trip.

Have always loved going here when I lived in Mississippi... moved back to California 13 years ago and have eaten here every time I visit and this will always be the first place I wanna come to any time I visit the South! The food is always amazing- their catfish melts in your mouth, the coleslaw is like none other, fried green tomatoes are probably better than the ones in the movie, the desserts are delicious if you even have room for them and the hospitality is truly southern! LOVE THIS PLACE and everything about it including the history... please NEVER CHANGE!!

Best salad. Homemade ranch for you ranch lovers. I have yet to find a place in west TN that matches the love that they put into their salad. They use real bacon bits and slice a boiled egg. It’s perfect the way it comes for veggies but you can change it up. You must order the whole salad not side salad. The salad is probably not healthy but definitely worth every calorie. Oh yeah they have catfish fillets are served on bone or off if requested. Better than the catfish place in Jackson by far. It’s on the TN river bank. Good old southern decor. Special place for sure.

One of the best restaurants in the area. I have had almost every thing on the menu and have not been disappointed yet. The service is always warm and welcoming. If you are there for the first time try the spinach artichoke dip and then enjoy the meal it only gets better from there.
