Southern Comfort on 66

Great first time experience! Chicken Schnitzel was awesome (I'd never eaten anything un-american & it was like catfish batter on a baked chicken). Wife's steak was perfectly prepared. The Vetkoek and jam was great as an appetizer (it's a doughy bread). Malva pudding was our delicious dessert (like a raisin bread without raisins & w/ ice cream). The sides were hot and good. The update to the entire inside is much better than it used be. Very clean and nice place now. The restroom was spotless and updated since the old owners. The service was spot on. As busy as they were (& they were), the manager stopped to get our thoughts and recommendations without rush.

Just opened. Clean environment. Fresh food, great meat for burgers. You can tell lots of work went into the renovations. Good fair prices for what you get. Friendly staff. You can tell they are still working on decorating and final touches. We will go back for dinner.
