First off, this is not Dan's cafe anymore.
I stumbled upon this gem on the East Side of Lexington Tennessee.
This is a veteran old establishment.
They are for military discount to active duty and retirees with DOD dentification card..
They make some excellent handcrafted sandwiches offer barbecue well round in meals at a very moderate price.
Is a staff was completely friendly warm and welcoming, We enjoyed our meal and we will return.
Any days with runaway prices it was great to find a place that would serve you Is at a moderate price.
    Is quality an inventive meals.
A bit out of the way but well worth the drive.
A meal for four approximately $65

Amazing food! Best burger I've ever had! We had such an awesome server, Lindsay, we never had to wait for a refill, she was on it and the place was packed and she was the only server and handled it like a champ. We will definitely be back!

It's probably the best hamburger I have ever had! OMG, how amazing! I had the Diablo Melt smash burger and the brisket skins. Also took a Buffalo Chichen Spud to go. Outstanding flavors all-around. The service was great-
Very friendly and efficient. The food was all perfect. The cost was definitely on point. I can't say enough about this food!

What a great experience! From the time we walked in the door. Service was great, Melissa was our server.. Food was wonderful! We had a loaded grilled cheese and classic burger. Prices are very affordable. Finally! A good place in town where you get it all.

    We'll be back!
Unfortunately, we arrived for lunch just as the illustrious Fire Department were waiting on their food..... causing us to wait a bit to get our food. Meh.
I think they were also missing a waitstaff member.
That being said, the server was spot on as was the food.
I would normally rate a restaurant lower due to the wait time, but the waitress was doing a hurculean effort to keep our drinks filled while taking and delivering orders.....seeming by herself,
They were down a staff member AND had 3 full tables of our Fire Department, I'm hoping that this was a "one off" experience.
