Carmack's Fish Barn

My husband and I went for the first time last Saturday the food was delicious and the service awesome. We will be back.

The best cole slaw, hush puppies, fish and shrimp. Always friendly and the best service. I could eat here every weekend, definitely worth the drive!

If you like catfish you are going to love this place. It’s a little out of the way but it is so worth it if you want to stuff yer self full to bustin with southern comfort food. First, it is a barn. But it is chock full of down home decor and atmosphere. Once you’ve been seated and your drink order goes in, out comes white beans cooked to perfection, Carmack’s famous vinegar coleslaw, and amazing hush puppies. If you order the catfish you won’t be disappointed. The catfish steaks are crispy, flaky, and delicious. If you don’t want fish...why not have a steak. The banana pudding and turtle pie are so good you’ll keep eating way after you’re full. Great for big families and singles/couples alike. Give them a try if you haven’t already. We can’t wait to go back.
