Roaring River Post

My friends and I had a nice kayak trip down the Roaring River last week. Very scenic. The water was low in some places because of the dry spell we have had, but all in all, it was a good float. The family that runs the rental service is very friendly and helpful. We will be back and do the longer float next time.

Yesterday me, my dad, and two friends went to this location to kayak down the river. We had such a blast it was absolutely beautiful. The family that owns this shop were incredibly kind and helpful. They have the sweetest kids as well and it’s just a very wholesome little family owned business. I highly recommend anyone to go there. The service was amazing they have everything you could ask for and are very prompt to help.

Chelsea and her team are great people. Extremely helpful guides who know the river well. They were very accommodating and went out of they’re way to make our float trip successful. They shuttled us to multiple locations while we checked river levels. Will definitely be back.

This place is great! Highly recommended! Owners are great people, food is amazing, they have all types of boats and boards for rent, and the service was 💯!! My kids had such a great day because of them.

We had a wonderful time kayaking on a beautiful October day. We had travelled from Minnesota to attend the Cumberland River Music Festival and are so glad that we extended our stay so we could kayak. Chelsea and her family were so friendly outfitting us with everything we would need and providing transportation to the entry and exit points on the Roaring River. We came back later to enjoy chicken wings and quesadillas. This business is a great addition to the charming and friendly town of Gainesboro.
