Ancient Lore Village

This was the most magical place for our girls weekend away. We dressed up as fairies and had a wonderful time exploring the village. Staff was amazing and food was delicious! Cannot wait to come back!

We visited Ancient Lore Village to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and had a wonderful time. The grounds/lodging were beautiful and the staff was very kind and helpful. It was a wonderful experience that I highly recommend!

Staff was wonderful and helpful! Brunch was good. The grounds are a little smaller than expected.
Overall, it's just unfortunate that the owner is an old man that feels entitled to smoke right next to you and place his lit cigarette on the table next to your sweater. As someone who is highly allergic to smoke, and as a guest in general, I find this highly inappropriate and rude beyond measures. There were also kids around. If you're going to represent your business, stop doing so poorly. Archery was fine. The owner stood directly behind us for the entire hour we were using it and also made comments of "getting weak?" when we would miss.
For future reference, don't open an attraction before it's ready. You also need arrow rests on the bows and to change the colors of the different length arrows for safety reasons so someone doesn't accidentally shoot themselves.
Again, the actual staff was the best part.

Beautiful luxury room, with a comfortable bed and rain shower in the bathroom that was perfect. No television in the room, but we didn't miss that one bit. We spent the evening at the firepit in front of our room. There was a functional wood burning fireplace in the room that we did not use. We woke up and left the room to find a half dozen hummingbirds outside our door in the flower garden. A beautiful waterfall less than fifty feet from our room. Archery, axe throwing, and kid's outdoor activities somehow make this very grown up place kid friendly. An excellent brunch buffet was served up the morning after our stay. Top all this off with a welcoming, professional staff. We will be back!

A delightful evening! I came for the California wine tasting event with a four course meal. Not only was the atmosphere fantastic and something unique to the area but the food and wine were divine as well as the hospitality. Shout out to Micah for going above and beyond and explaining to us every detail on our tour. Can’t wait to come back for all kinds of future events 👏🏽
