Applecake Tea Room

Very cute and homely little spot! I met someone there to discuss wedding plans. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the prices and menu were fair. I definitely recommend checking this place out. Great for a quick bite, a get together, or if you have someone you would like to meet somewhere and your lookin for a nice little quiet spot!

This place is phenomenal! I’m not sure why people only mention “girls day out” and “caters to women.” My husband and I go here all the time and we often see men in there. Anyway. The TeaRoom medley is my favorite as you get the delicious chicken salad and banana bread, among other things. My husband is a vegetarian and he loves the fresh fruit salad and on occasion the quiche when they serve one with no meat. The atmosphere is cozy and especially wonderful during the colder months when the fireplace is lit. We have never had anything but excellent service. The only thing I wish were different are the hours...would love later hours and to be able to go on Sunday.

Fun place to go. Food and service are exceptional! They make homemade banana bread and their homemade Chicken Salad is to die for!

My friends and I go to the Applecake Tea Room quite often as we pass the exit when going to a Ceramic Shop in Lenoir City. We are very pleased and the food is always good. We do wish they would put less broccoli and spinach and more egg in the quiche. Most of the food we have gotten has been good and we love the orange tea. We love to look at all the interesting decor. We don't really consider it a tea room as they have regular restaurant dishes and it isn't decorated as a tea room would be. No fancy porcelain tea pots or cups and saucers. Never the less we like it and will continue to go there.

I’ve been coming here since I was a little girl - the last 20+ years. I’ve always had consistently great service and delicious food. I’ve had my bridal shower and baby shower here. Apple Cake Tea Room holds a special place in my heart, and the hearts of my family and friends.
