El Tequila Bar & Grill

Food was great and it needs to be as there are four other Mexican restaurants in Halls. Give them a try and let them know what you think! I met the owner/manager and he wants to bring in Birthday parties and live music for the Halls community. ??

Food was great, fresh, and hot. Service was really nice.

I'll preface this review be staying that we had takeout and did not dine in. (Future reader it was in the time of Corona) El Tequila is the newest Mexican restaurant in Halls, and right now I think it is probably the best. Having had take out from every Mexican restaurant in the Halls/Powell area I feel qualified to make that statement. The pricing is on par with others in the area ($9-$14/entre). We had Shrimp fajitas and ground beef Chimichangas. The food was fresh and hot when we picked it up and they did not charge extra for chips and salsa. I'm posting pictures of the current menu as at this time there is no menu online. However, I was told that the menu will be changing slightly in the near future as they are adding some items. We will definitely try them again in the future, especially since I have not been able to try the tequila/margaritas yet.
