Some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. The first thing I noticed immediately was the amount of spice in the chicken and I loved it! Granted I do love spicy food so it was great for me.

My wife ordered catfish and it also had that amazing spice. She enjoys spice just as much as I do. They don't normally have catfish, but I guess on occasion they get some in. We would not have known unless our waiter had told us they had catfish. Overall the sides were good the potato salad was a little on the sweeter side than I prefer, but some people love it that way.

We also got an order of their fried pickles and they also didn't disappoint, I will say be careful biting into those things they were insanely hot when we received ours.

Will definitely be back here for more fried chicken and catfish (if they have it)!

We walked into this place expecting to find it to be the best fried chicken we ever had. It was pretty good but not *that* good. There were no biscuits, the chicken was served with a single slice of white bread. There was nothing green on the menu other than cole slaw. The chicken was battered in a way that it pretty much stuck to the outside of the piece of chicken, rather than puffing up like most other fried chicken, leaving the pieces looking small even though they're probably the same size as what you'd get elsewhere. The iced tea was quite good, whether sweetened or unsweetened. The service was good, but maybe a bit intrusive, as the guy kept checking with us every 10 minutes. He asked more our opinion of the food than whether we needed anything. Next time I'll go to Popeye's. There is a Bojangles in Morristown that my wife likes better than this, too.

We’ve always been big time Gus’s fans but it was really really delicious today. It was our first time at the new location in Farragut and the quality of the food was so top tier, dare I say better than the other location near downtown. Our server Daisy was so personable and attentive pointing us in the right direction to all the best foods upon our request. We got home 10 minutes ago and I would go back now. I have never liked coleslaw until I’ve had theirs and they make chicken that just can’t be found anywhere else these days… don’t get me started on the fried pickles. :)

Steep driveway from the road so be super careful when driving up.

I ordered the two piece dark meat chicken meal with fries, fried okra and macaroni. We also ordered fried green tomatoes and my husband got the two piece white meat meal.

I liked the chicken, it was crispy and not too crazy greasy like some fried chicken can get. The fried okra was also good.

However, the fried green tomatoes were not delicious. The batter was super thick and there was barely any tomato inside. The fries were also just meh. My kids ate some macaroni and some fried okra and fries. They didn't love the fries either.

Overall the food was decent but I would not waste money on the fried green tomatoes (we ate like 2 and threw the rest away) and skip the fries. Just get okra and some more okra for your side(s).

The kids loved the roll up garage window and wanted to climb out it to leave... so they did haha.
