As far as McDonalds go, it is probably the best one around this area. The ones off exit 9 and 11 are probably the 2 worse Mcdonalds I've ever been to.
We went on a Sunday, about 4pm. There was only one other family in the restaurant, so we were able to order immediately. Our food was prepared quickly, and was hot when brought to the table. It's been a while since we've eaten at a McDonald's, and even longer since we last ate at this particular location. The restaurant, as well as the women's restroom, were clean. The employee behind the counter was friendly and attentive.
I like to keep my reviews positive so I will say that when we finally received our food, the order was correct. I would not recommend using the self ordering system. After waiting 15 minutes, for our food to be delivered, I went up to the counter and an employee immediately turned around, picked up our food and handed it to me. I saw this happen to another customer who used the self order. I did not see the employees deliver an order while we were there. Also, the ketchup dispensers were empty and the trash cans were full.
Depending on the time of day, you're order might be fresh, hot and correct, then again maybe it won't be. I would recommend going inside to order (even if it's a "to-go") & double checking your order in the store when they hand it to you. If it's wrong, look at your ticket, make sure the cashier put your order in correctly, if not, remember the kitchen only sees what is on the screen. If it is right on the ticket, but wrong when you get it, then notify management instead of taking it out on the of the cashier. If you special order something, let's say QP w/cheese, no onions, extra pickles. Be patient, you're changing their "routine" & double check the order when you get it. If it's wrong, don't get mad, they are human & make mistakes, it's inevitable. If they do get it right, tell them. I'm being serious, TELL THEM something like "hey y'all, great job, thanks for getting my order right", smile and MEAN IT. They will remember you, and chances are, they will go out of their way to get right the next time.
