Red Lobster

The server was wonderful. Explained all the specials and suggested wonderful appetizers. The stuffed mushrooms were great

To begin, I had the Jumbo Shrimp cocktail. I was amazed to see the shrimp were definitely jumbo sized; sadly, however, they were so overcooked they were in a hard C shape. Because I was very hungry when I arrived, I ate them anyway but if that were to happen again, I would definitely send them back. For my entree, I had the Crab Lovers Dream with Lobster Mashed Potatoes. While everything tasted delicious, I was surprised to see the spikes still on the King Crab, which made it very difficult and frustrating to open them. In fact, my thumb was pierced by one of the spikes. In addition, the King Crab was overcooked as it was a challenge to get the meat out of the shell regardless of the spikes. On the other hand, the Snow Crab was cooked perfectly, was a delight to crack open and tasted lovely and sweet! The Lobster Mashed tasted heavenly although it was very rich. The Crab Linguini Alfredo had very little crab in it and was too heavy and "gummy-like,” overall. It detracted from the meal rather than added to it. To end on a positive note, my server (Aloysius W) was pleasant, professional and took excellent care of me during my dining experience. My bar drinks were delivered promptly and made just the way I ordered them. It’s possible, if I am having another craving, I will return during Crab Fest but I would not wrestle with the King Crab, again. Leaving the spikes on is a customer service infraction and detracts from what could otherwise be a very pleasant, enjoyable meal. Not everyone has strong fingers and thick skin to deal with getting that crab open. Despite the issues I did have during this visit, I would recommend Red Lobster if you are having a serious seafood craving.

I absolutely loved the food and drinks here! Even down to the biscuits before eating it was all so good, this is a great place to eat and just enjoy time with friends family etc. I highly recommend that you try this place if you haven't!!

The service was awesome as always but the food was not great for the first time. Usually they put the ginger soy sauce on the side but this time they drowned my salmon in it. Too much and I could hardly taste the salmon. The salads were served with old Browning lettuce. Not the usual for them at all!
