Rosati's Pizza

Deep dish quality is very good. Was disappointed with amount of toppings, and fact that some toppings weren’t even right. But one of the best deep dish pizzas I have had outside of Chicago, glad to have this option in Knoxville.

I struggled between 3 and 4 stars. This is not an Italian experience / decor setting. So if you are looking for ambience this is not your place. But if you are looking for authentic Chicago styles pizza this is your place. It does have very good Chicago style thin crust and deep dish pizza. They can make it to order for you or you can get a pizza that is in a refrigerated case to take home and bake. The Casual Pint is next door so you can order your pizza and go to the Casual Pint. They will bring your pizza to you. You can get a salad, sandwiches and sides as well.

The food is AMAZING! The best ravioli around! We ordered the Chicago style pizza and it was cooked perfectly, the crust was flaky and a little crunchy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. The marinara is out of this world! Portion sizes are very generous especially for the prices! The only negative was the small dining room space and the temperature of the dining room was on the warm side. Overall experience was positive!!

The pizza is authentic deep dish Chicago style, for sure. The only thing holding it back from 5 stars is the lack of a full service dining room - there are a few tables for sitting to eat, but it's still just counter service. Given that pizza is best when hot and fresh, those of us that live more than 3 miles away are always going to be dining there.
