Very family friendly. Have never had an issue with my child. Or other friends and family members who have children. Issues that a few others have mentioned and left reviews, their children were running around rabidly, being rude, obnoxious, destroying property, screaming, yelling, and parents were unable to keep them under control, as they were well under the influence. We absolutely love the Schulz Bräu family, and the Biertgarden; the atmosphere, the food, the beer, the people. It is one of the more family, kid, and pet friendly places we frequent and hang out.
I hate to see 2 reviews try to tarnish the reputation, with misinformation given, of a very well known, very popular, German restaurant and brewery.
Great Place, nice inside bar and a very cool outside patio area with an outside bar for quick beers and an outside concession area to order variety of authentic German foods...Have Brats, pretzels with beer cheese sauce, schnitzels, German pot roast and fresh made pizza etc. and More. Outside patio has large screens, a bunch of seating, outside water misters, a large stage and live music.
We attended the Bearded Villains event, Knoxvillains 2019 Beard Competition, and I must say Schulz Bräu has an amazing establishment. From their gorgeous clear glass display of their brewing cycle to their amazing selection of brews. They have an awesome Dutch theme and a beautiful outside venue that will make you feel right at home. We will for sure be back to Schulz Bräu if not only for the atmosphere but also for their astonishing brews!
Love this brewery!! The castle vibes are so cool. The beer is really good too. The Radler is delicious. It’s a mix with lemonade. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.
