The Original Copper Cellar Restaurant

The menu is filled with wonderful options from raw oysters to the more ubiquitous fried fish. We started our meal with calamari. It was tender and flavorful. The pieces were small but the portion was large. We shared an order for the seven of us at the table with some left.

Went here for a Sunday brunch (out of the ordinary for me). I had the soup of the day and my wife had a delectable salmon with a lemon dill sauce. The food was great and the service was even greater.I love the atmosphere of the place. All the woodwork, stained glass, and intricate design of the bar remind me of Cheers. If I lived in Knoxville, this is a place I would visit often. Highly recommend!

Love coming here! Great street view and great food. The fried pickles are sooo good. I love the Ale Steak and the burgers are good. Sides...I'd recommend Neva's Potatoes and the Baked Macaroni!
Tip: This is not the same menu as what's offered at the Copper Cellar West location. The Cumberland location is our favorite. The West location was okay...but very sad in spirit. Not one person working there seemed happy to be there.

I recently discovered this wonderful restaurant while visiting Knoxville for a few days. I enjoyed a burger that ranks right at the top of my favorites!! The meat was juicy, flavorful, and a generous portion. It was so good, I went back the next night just for the burger. I asked a few questions and learned the burger was actually meatless and plant-based! I was so surprised. I would definitely recommend the restaurant as it was cozy, upbeat, and pleasant. The wait staff was superb both visits. I will look forward to visiting Knoxville and Copper Cellar West again.

This is a great place to grab drinks and a bite (or two!) before a home game. Definitely get a chicken quesadilla...so delicious! Great atmosphere and great people. If you can, request Caroline. You won't be sorry; she's so helpful and sweet as can be!
