Long John Silver's

I stopped in to my local Long John Silver's this afternoon. It had been a while since I'd been in. The first thing I noticed was that there were more people coming in than there used to be. When I got inside, I saw they have new grilled offerings along with the usual fried foods. I tried the grilled salmon and shrimp platter with green beans and slaw. The shrimp was okay, and the salmon was good, but dry. If there's a way to do what they're doing, and retain some of the juiciness of the salmon and shrimp, it'd be great. Overall, I was pleased with the addition of the grilled items. Knowing I have a healthier choice will surely bring me back more often.
The only real drawback today was the slaw. They've changed the flavor of the slaw, and I can't wait for them to change it back.
Keep the changes coming, LJS. I definitely think you're on the right track. (Except the slaw, it wasn't broke, you shouldn't have "fixed" it. )

A little busy, but friendly and helpful. Food was good.

Fries fish and hush pups were good but the chicken was cold and hard

Service was fast. Most of the staff was friendly and nice. It's kinda expensive!It was $10 for just me a meal and the drink wasn't included. The food was good????

Went early in the morning. Had some of the best fish I've ever gotten. Suggest going right after it opens for best fish. Its good all day but better right after it opens.
