Junkyard Dog Steakhouse

Ordered chicken fried steak to go from lunch menue. The food was decent and came out quick. The staff was very friendly and there was room for plenty of parking. It was the only place in town we tried so I can't compare to other restaurants.

We had a great time, and the waitress was a real sweetheart, very attentive staff, and the food was better than anything else around!
They have been in business for a long time, and they draw a good crowd, because they don't just do what everyone else does, they should be proud.
We went during the week of Oktoberfest, and it was packed out, everyone I know said that it was the same way even on a regular weekend!

A.friend told me about this.place or i would never have stopped. This place looks like a hole in the wall but the food taste delicious and the steaks were cooked to order. Bathrooms need updated and cleaned. Price was reasonable.

My first visit to this local eatery and I wasn't disappointed. My friendly and attentive server, Shelby, was a big part of it, as was the warm (NOT from the microwave!) Bread, wonderful sweet potato fries and the delicious steak (but there were a few areas that were tough). With the generous portions, there was no room for dessert, but the cheesecake got my attention. The atmosphere is also a plus: large but not noisy, rustic with some interesting touches. Finally, although I was eating solo, I was given a large comfortable table. Glad I stopped by!
