Barnhill's Buffet

I CAN'T SING BARNHILL'S PRAISES ENOUGH!!!!! I went there on New Year's evening, after having a very unsatisfactory experience with a local country store restaurant there in Jackson, TN.

The employees were super nice! They were MOST accomodating...they were told about my experience and they went out of the way to make sure our New Year's meal was pleasureable!!! They cooked french fries for my daughter even though those weren't on the buffet. The manager got BBQ out of the cooler to send to my daughter because THEY HAD IT and that's what she wanted!!! Everyone helped me get those 3 "to go" plates together and they all did everything in their power to see that we got the food we wanted!!! They even gave us dessert and one meal in an attempt to wipe that "other" horrible experience away!!! (and it worked!!)

We will definitely be back to Barnhill's and I will definitely sing Barnhill's praises to anyone who will listen. WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS....ESPECIALLY A RESTAURANT!!!!! It is so reassuring to know there really are people left in this world who actually have FEELINGS and care for others!!! I'm one happy camper now after visiting BARNHILL'S!!!!! THANK YOU BARNHILL'S!!!!...and that really isn't saying enough!

Not sure why there were poor reviews. The steak was so tender I could cut it with a case knife, the shrimp were great, my husband loved the ribs and catfish, and the gingerbread cookies and blackberry cobbler were excellent.

I have no clue what those other reviews are talking about. This place is great! The ribs were flavorful & moist, the shrimp was really good as well as the red potatoes. The best part has to be the blackberry cobbler. It had just the right balance of sweet & tart to make it amazing. If we had one if these where I live, I'd be here weekly at the very least!

I took a chance after seeing some bad reviews but the food was great...turkey,ham ect.....I will be back

Simple. Good food. Good variety. Upscalish, but still a buffet.
