Red Hook Cajun Seafood

Interior decoration is very nice. Onion rings and shrimp were very hot wrt/ temperature. Still need to iron out kinks like telling staff when there is no popcorn shrimp. Even though it was hot, the breading tasted as if it was commercially done. Wait staff was nice and checked back often.

I ordered the Friday Special to go and it was so good... it was seasoned well... I will be returning real soon. When I went it was packed and people were waiting 45 minutes to eat. The atmosphere inside seemed nice.

It is a pretty good place too eat. It is very new and they have alot of kinks to work out but the food was amazing!! Wait time was kind of crazy but it is to be expected with a week old restaurant. Did not have to wait long on our food once we ordered though but it is a little pricey. We will definitely give them some time to get into their grove and settle into Jackson and we will come back and see how different our experience is!!

The food was good. The service is lacking a bit , but I’ll look past that because it just opened. The food was really good and seasoned good as well. My only complaint about the food was that the crab legs were cooked to long. The shell was soft and would not crack open. I had to use a fork to split it open. The shrimp were big and that’s a plus. This is an honest review. Overall It was really good. I’ll go back in a month or so and see if they have tuned it up on the customer service. I was still happy when I left and was full.
