The Blacksmith Restaurant

Wow! We came in town from New Orleans and picked The Blacksmith from a list of top 10 restaurants online. It did not disappoint! We opened with the Johhny Cakes - who doesn't love warm sweet cornbread? Our entrees were The Forge and The Molten burgers - juicy and delicious. I had a side of the Mac n 5 Cheese and it was seriously the best i've ever had in a restaurant. It probably could cure the common cold. Our sever Kylie was nice and answered all questions about the menu. She was efficient and friendly. The atmosphere is casual with a nice dimly lit feel and great musical selection.
A definite recommendation for anyone.

Burger not all that and fries worse. If you can't get that right I wouldn't try the rest. Wasn't bad its just not well thought out and hamburger and fries are like a staple. Need practice. Atmosphere nice though.

Lord have mercy, this places is exceptional!! This place is perfect for a family dinner or a date night. We are from PA and wanted to experience the local vibe. Home Run!! Our waiter, Jason, was absolutely the best for knowing the menu and local beer. (not to mention his southern charm) Every single thing was wonderful, including the very clean bathrooms! We will be certain to visit on our next trip to Jackson!!

The staff are amazing. All the bar tenders are so friendly. The manager recognized my wife and i on our second time there, and says hi every time now. Their version of the Old Fashioned is quite enjoyable. I enjoy their steak and pork ribeye and salmon and pretty much everything I've eaten there

It is hit or miss if you order take out or delivery, but eating at the establishment is always great. My last 3 take out/delivery, orders had items missing or the order wasn't prepared as requested. This location has been several different restaurants in the past, so it has a pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant is always packed, but it never seems to negatively affect the service. The staff is attentive. I love the Southwest Salad, and every other item I order in store is always fresh and sooo good.
