West Alley BBQ and Smokehouse

Very good! We got the pork plate and brisket plate, both were very tender and well seasoned. The staff was great and we enjoyed the live music. All of the sides were delicious and we also got the pecan cobbler which was heaven.

The food was excellent! Some of the best BBQ I’ve had! It has an awesome atmosphere and friendly wait staff! The ribs were so tender you can literally eat the bones. But you might get strange looks...

Great BBQ! I'm originally from Texas so for me to say the Brisket was amazing is a true compliment. My co-worker and I set at the bar after our conference and Adam, the bartender, was amazing, great drinks and great service. I will go again the next time I am in Jackson.

Just ate there. Food was good , but portions were small. I got the brisket plate. 2 small slices of brisket, very little fries and a cup of potato salad that was good. Came with a half dollar size cornbread that was very dry. For $14.50 plus tax $1.41= $15.91 was not worth the price for the portion. That not counting the drink. Don’t get me wrong. The food is good, but the portions are small for what you pay for. More like lunch portions. Left hungry

Great local place with a straightforward menu. The brisket and BBQ are great. They have a stage for music certain nights and a full bar. The outdoor patio is nice on cool days and the indoors was nice and clean. Exactly what you were looking for when you said I'd like to grab some BBQ. The service was quick and I would definitely go back.
