“Excellent hostess and super waitress but the food (and lack of some items) leaves a bit to be desired. I ordered fried oysters, waitress came back to tell me they were out of fried oysters as a main course. I asked for oysters on the half shell for an appetizer, and frogs legs as main course. I was served the main course but guess what, no oysters at all. As for the frogs legs, they were on the tough side and covered in an overpowering batter. They were okay but the delicate taste of the frog was lost in that batter. Thevsides I had, broccoli and a sweet potato were excellent. Luckily the service from the waitress made up for any shortfall with the food. Nice decor. Convenient location. I'd eat eat again but would try a burger or steak next time.”

“Food was excellent. Convenient to the interstate. One of the best meals we have had while on vacation this week. Server was a little unfriendly but did a good job. We had the lasagna and a sirloin. Steak was cooked perfectly hubby loved the lasagna. Fresh baked bread was great with real butter. I loved the Italian dressing on my fresh salad. We will definitely return again.”

“Best 'cue in town. Had the ribs today - wet ribs, my favorite - they were sweet, succulent, and fall-off-the-bone tender. Yummers! Great sides, too, especially the potato salad. They also have other items like burgers and a daily plate lunch. The service is always excellent - I'm retired and have some medical issues and have to walk with a cane. The staff told me to find a table and they would bring everything to me. And they did. I don't give out many 5-star reviews, on anything. But Back Yard B'B'Q is that good. Can't recommend it enough.”

“Dillon at the subway in Lynwood Jackson, TN provided fantastic customer service to not only me but every customer that I witnessed. He treated each of us like we were important and he was efficient but not rushed, personable and sincere. Out of all the chopped salads I've gotten from many different subways this was the best. When I called to get the store number he answered. I told him why I wanted the number and he said you don't have to do that, you calling is enough, which made me want to compliment him even more! Customer service is a lost art with younger generations but he is the exception. Please acknowledge him.”

“Very very good steak. We had fried pickles, which were spear pickles so better then chip pickles everyone else seems to serve. I had the fried pork chop lunch with smashed potatoes and mac-n-cheese. The mac-n-cheese was homemade and had a little kick, very good. The smashed potatoes were delicious, especially with the gravy they brought. The fried pork chop was tender and the breading they used was very good paired with the chop. The rest of the table got steaks and they were all cooked exactly as they wanted them. Juicy and tasty would sum up our experience. Very nice staff. Decor was old world and fun.”
