    The history alone is a great reason to go there. Our server Dana was so sweet and informative. The food was excellent. The steak was perfect, not a bad thing on the menu. A great getaway only about 40 miles from Chattanooga. Our favorite stop on the way to or from Nashville.

    This is a fairly expensive place to eat. The food was not hot when brought out. Our waitress had no one helping in our area. She was the busser, drink filler, and waitress for many tables. She was completely on her own. In 5 star restaurants that I have been in, there is always someone helping. Our appetizer included grapes....and they were moldy, we brought it to our waitress attention, but no mention of it further. And we paid the full price for the appetizer. Overall my steak was good. But for the price I did expect more

    It was delicious! But Very expensive and no kids menu. I had to pay about 28 dollars for a chicken fettuccine meal for a 13 year old. Out waitress was super friendly and we loved sitting out on the outdoor patio.

    This was our first trip to High Point but definitely not the last. The lobster bisque is amazing. If you have the option, sit outside on the patio. The surrounding flower garden is beautiful, especially in the afternoon. Very romantic.
