Amazing lunch buffet. Clean, hot food, homemade. Excellent service. The price was unbelievable. Definitely going out of my way to stop here whenever traveling through. Exceedingly generous samples for the homemade fudge and sauces. Family owned and operated, very family friendly.

We spent our 19 wedding anniversary here. I can't say enough. From the food to the cabin to all the staff everything was just amazing. Some of the best pork I have ever ate even the fudge was great, and I dont even like fudge. Thank you all so much for making our get a way so special I truly appreciate it and couldn't imagine having gone anywhere else. Thank you again

My wife and I stayed at the adjacent Lodge as we visited our son at college at Sewanee. We ate at the Smokehouse on several occasions and really loved it. Simple, good country food. Friendly service. On the last night of our stay, we had to come in late for dinner and the restaurant accommodated us and served us a delightful meal. The history of the Smokehouse is reflected in its unique decor. Absolutely one of a kind. Can't wait to go back.

Wonderful atmosphere. Lots of fun stuff to look at. Come hunger you get a LOT of food. I had the brisket. Very tender and succulent! My wife had the pulled pork. It was juicy and had a nice smoke flavor. We also enjoyed trying the various BBQ sauce options. The fried green tomatoes were awesome. Can't wait to go back for breakfast in the morning.
