If you are looking for the best place in Lewisburg to eat, look no further than Taproot. While more expensive than anywhere in Lewisburg, you get what you pay for. Give them a try! The Filet and Lobster is amazing!
I’ve eaten here three times now. They are located at Saddlecreek Golf Course serving lunch Wednesday through Sunday and Dinner on Friday and Saturday nights. Their dinner menu changes each week, but their sandwiches and most of their appetizers stay the same. Last night I had the Filet of Beef. It was served over mashed potatoes, sautéed spinach and mushrooms. This was my second time to have it. It was delicious. We got the bruschetta as an appetizer and a poached peach for dessert. Really good all of it. The best part is that their bartender knows how to make a good vodka martini. Sometimes it can be a challenge to get a good one. The prices here are more expensive than any other restaurant in town, but the quality is also much better. This place could have located in Franklin or Nashville, but somehow we got lucky enough to get them here. The menu isn’t vast, but I’ve found something I loved on it each time I’ve visited. It’s so nice to have quality dining in town and not have to drive to to another town. Make sure you make reservations if you go for dinner.
I’ve become a frequent visitor, and for good reason. Brett and his team are introducing dishes I’ve never seen anywhere else around town. Not only are they bringing new dishes to Lewisburg, but they also execute them so well! I’m extremely happy to see place that delivers superb seafood.
Spectacular dining for date night or perfect casual lunch spot located at Saddle Creek Golf Course in Lewisburg Tennessee. By far the best restaurant in town - featuring locally sourced items, full bar (I recommend the Old Fashioned), a menu that changes regularly, and a knowledgeable chef who is able to meet dietary needs ( I’m gluten free). Chef Bret and his staff do an awesome job from setting reservations to the dessert (try the creme brûlée if available!!). They also offer to-go service and catering!
