I do enjoy going especially for the Ribs when their not cooked to death. I like the choices of sides they have. I think their Roast is ok. I like their salad bar because it has diced ham and bacon and that's 2 of my favorite things. They moved to where the old Ponderosa Steakhouse/Bonanza Steakhouse was in the Shadybrook Mall now The Columbia Mall. It's sorta bigger, but can't say much for their Restrooms. At this point they haven't been there hardly a month now (Moved on July 31st, 2015) and the Stall Doors needs a little work. The staff was nice and very friendly. I kinda wish that they had more choices of Meats. They always have some kind of Chicken (Fried, Baked or Both) and Cat Fish. (during the week). It kinda would be nice to have Steak more often. Over all I do enjoy going. When they have a full house it can be kinda loud and a lot going on so if you have Sensory Issues avoid the weekends and try not to go during Lunch or Dinner Hours.

One of the better family restaurants around. Reasonable prices for the variety of food you get. Rush to get in but no rush to leave.

I've been to Farmer's Family probably 4-5 times with family over the last few months. It's an all-buffet restaurant, with all the pros and cons that come with that. Pros: lots of food choices and they generally keep the bar well stocked. Cons: food quality varies a lot. A few items are really good, some mediocre, and some are very poor, so it's really hit and miss. The desserts at Farmer's need a lot of improvement. They have tons of desserts, but very few are worth having. Their rice krispy treats taste like wax and are truly awful. They'd do better to have fewer desserts that are higher quality, instead of dozens that aren't much good.

The same goes for their vegetables and sides..many are flavorless or cooked to death. Even the mashed potatoes aren't very tasty. On the other hand, they have turkey and dressing that's actually pretty good. The breakfast bar seems to be a lot better than lunch or dinner, and it's also priced a couple bucks lower. Bottom line, Farmer's is an okay buffet that could be a good buffet with just a few improvements to food quality.

Food, service, & atmosphere is very family orientated. Huge variety of food. Servers will bring you food fresh from the food bar. Love the oysters & shrimp.....
