Top O' The River

Try the fried Crab Claws. A bit pricey but delicious. The coleslaw is great and most of the time the catfish is too. But the crab claws are our favorite! They're hard to find too.

We dined here a week ago. The staff were fantastic especially Crystal, the manager. It was by far the best service and hospitality we received during our trip to Tennessee from the UK; genuine Southern hospitality. She got us to try their special "Pot of Greens" and sample their catfish. Really nice atmosphere, large portions and good value. Best restaurant in that area. We had planned to go back the next night but unfortunately other things got in the way.

Excellent food and atmosphere. We went with a group of twenty after we were told that the original restaurant we tried to reserve was already booked. I'm so glad we came here instead. Our five year old loved the hush puppies and the turnip greens are spectacular. Some in our group didn't care for the tartar sauce, but I liked it. Worth the trip!

Excellent service. Excellent food. No wait times even though I had a party of 9. Well worth the drive. Put it on your bucket list!!!

Top of the river is one of the finer restaurants. It's kinda out of the way for some of us, but, well worth the drive if you haven't been there already. They have some of the best catfish and seafood in the south and the waitresses are friendly and very helpful. Try it, you'll like it.
