La Morenita Mexican Restaurant

Small restaurant with authentic Mexican food. I had the Street Tacos and they reminded me of the ones I got from the street vendor in Mazatlan. The Street Tacos come with just the meat and you add what you want from the food bar (cheese, salsa, etc). I ordered four of them, because they are small, and it seemed just about the right amount. Prices are great, no need to break I to the vault to go out for lunch or dinner. I saw someone who had called ahead pick up their dinner in to go boxes. Not fancy, but is a nice quiet getaway for a little romance...

Salsa and topping bar, nothing labeled but just taste test first. . Many taco meat options, traditional or tex Mex. Moderately quick, friendly and clean. Interior small but decorated and welcoming. Both fish tacos were good , and the chicken too.

Looks like they did a massive change with the food and staff. The food is always good and their streets tacos doubled in amount of meat and there's also a salsa/toppings bat now. The best improvement that I've seen are the servers they are friendly and won't give you the wrong orders which used the happen frequently. One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the area.

This is a great restaurant. Genuine cooked from scratch Mexican food. It has to be the best in the area if not the USA. Eating here or in Monterrey Mexico I could not tell the difference. Price is extremely low. Great value.
